Two districts Berlinghieri and Zafarana, 8 kilometers apart, indistinctly offer a clear picture of our devotion to the land and our love for conscious and localized viticulture.

THE TERRITORY

In 2013 we abandoned the use of any chemicals to allow the territory and its vineyards room to express themselves, creating a photograph of the microclimate and natural wonders that surround our production.

In 2013 we abandoned the use of any chemicals to allow the territory and its vineyards room to express themselves, creating a photograph of the microclimate and natural wonders that surround our production. In all our territories the wind is a constant presence, which avoids the risk of stagnation of humidity, favoring the organic production of the grapes.

The heterogeneous variety of our vines, combined with the deep knowledge of our winemaking and sparkling winemaking techniques, make Di Legami a company able to offer a varied and quality wine production, with a deep and vital bond to our land, in whose values we believe and keep investing.

Our production includes over 40,000 bottles of Sicilian organic white, red, rosé and sparkling wine.

Our aim is always to create high quality, structured and long-lived local products, fully integrating ourselves in the Trapani countryside that hosts us.

Berlinghieri

The Berlinghieri district houses our colonial house and a new and modernized cellar.

Here, at about 250 meters above sea level, we grow grillo, inzolia, chardonnay and perricone vines, which embody the very essence of the Di Legami’s vision.

A soil rich in clay and skeletons that allows us to incorporate good quantities of water resources while giving heat to the plants, allowing an excellent extracting polyphenolic development of the grapes.

Zafarana

The Zafarana district rises a little higher at about 300 meters above sea level, in a calcareous soil where our nero d’avola, perricone, inzolia, and grillo vines, destined for the production of our classic method, as well as our only international grape, Syrah, find their cradle. Here the wines are characterized by a marked finesse and elegance and a lower acidity, compared to the Berlinghieri products.

45 hectares of vineyards divided in 2 districts 8 kilometers apart, Berlingieri and Zafarana, produce wines with different characteristics. The planting eras range from the 2005s to the present day.
