Our story has its roots in the rolling hills of the Trapani countryside. Here, on about 100 hectares in the Berlinghieri district, a tradition made of passion for nature and wine has been told for years.

GIUSEPPE AND GABRIELLA DI LEGAMI

Athering the rich family inheritance, and the love for the land and the wine handed down from previous generations, Giuseppe and Gabriella continue the work put in place by their grandparents, conveying to the new generations the values of the past, with a modern imprint aimed at new technologies and an environmental sustainability.

Their efforts, devoted to sustainable, quality production, met the intentions of a visionary winemaker, a lover of the land and a native of another Mediterranean island, Sardinia.

Its vocation is to recognize and indulge the characteristics of both native and international grape varieties, enhancing the qualities of the grapes and territories.

THE OENOLOGIST

SEBASTIANO POLINAS

Born in Bonnanaro, in the province of Sassari, thanks to the activity of his winemaker father and his family business, he grew up deeply immersed the wine world.

His work for our winery began in 2007. Following his wedding with Gabriella, he began shaping our new company philosophy: a new vision, oriented towards the enhancement of the territory. Thanks to the new technologies and a sustainable cultivation, our wine production is exclusively oriented towards the quality of the grapes and the exaltation of their varietal qualities, with a keen attention to native vines such as perricone, nero d’avola, inzolia and grillo.

Sustainable agriculture

In all our territories the wind is a constant presence, which avoids the risk of stagnation of humidity, favoring the organic production of the grapes.45 hectares of vineyards divided in 2 districts 8 kilometers apart, Berlingieri and Zafarana, produce wines with different characteristics but share the same devotion towards the land, as well as our love for a conscious and localized viticulture.

The heterogeneous variety of our vines, combined with the deep knowledge of our winemaking and sparkling winemaking techniques, make Di Legami a company able to offer a varied and quality wine production, with a deep and vital bond to our land, in whose values we believe and keep investing.
